While driving to work this morning, I looked up at the sky. Streaks of crimson, gold, and white blended together like a masterpiece hanging in an art gallery. For a moment, I simply took it in. It reminded me of the way we try to hold on to life’s most precious moments, storing them like snapshots in our hearts so they will never fade.
We cherish the milestones—graduations, weddings, and even the sacred moments of saying goodbye. We remember the comforting smell of a grandparent’s home, the embrace of someone we love, or the quiet beauty of a sunrise that seems to whisper, “God is here.”
God’s glory shines through ordinary moments in extraordinary ways. Sometimes all it takes is a glimpse of the morning sky to transform an ordinary day—or even a difficult one—into a day filled with gratitude.
Today, I am thankful.
I am thankful for the gift of life. I am thankful for my church family. I am thankful that through every stumble and every sprint, every marathon and every leap for joy, God has been making a way. Even when I could not see the path ahead, God remained faithful.
I am thankful for a God who loves each of us so completely that grace is never earned—it is freely given. God’s love is like a fountain of joy, continually poured out upon us. That joy fills our hearts, anoints our lives, and transforms us into beacons of hope for a world longing for light.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, God continues to work in and through us in remarkable ways. What a blessing it is to be part of that work. I am deeply grateful for the ways God continues to bless this church, its congregation, and my own life through the privilege of ministry.
As you go about your day, I pray that you will pause long enough to notice God’s presence—in the beauty of creation, in the kindness of another, or in the quiet moments of your own heart. May you be reminded that God’s grace surrounds you, God’s love sustains you, and God’s joy is always available to you.
May the Lord make God’s presence known in your life today and every day.
