As followers of Christ, we are called to share the Good News through the unique spiritual gifts God has given each of us. These gifts differ, yet together we become the hands and feet of Christ in the world. In this way, we are woven into God’s perfect will—each of us playing a meaningful part.
Every person has a gift, even if we don’t always recognize it. You may feel that your gift is small or insignificant, but to someone else, it may be a source of hope, healing, or even redemption.
Some servants use their gifts by making a phone call to check on a neighbor. Others send cards, prepare meals, or lift their voices in song. Some offer quiet prayers, asking God to watch over His children. Some lead in worship, while others serve faithfully from the back pew. Some join us online from home, and others simply sit beside those who are hurting, offering presence and love. Still others step out in faith to serve a stranger in need. All of these are gifts—and all are meaningful in God’s eyes.
God works through each of us in His own way. When we open our hearts and seek Him with a servant spirit, He reveals where we are needed—to act, to speak, or to pray. As we step into the roles He has prepared for us, our faith is strengthened and our purpose becomes clearer.
When we begin to recognize the gifts in one another, we move beyond surface differences. Politics, backgrounds, and appearances fade away as we see the heart of each person. In Christ, we are united. Through the Holy Spirit, our individual gifts are woven together into something greater—something that brings glory to God and nourishment to His people.
We are no longer alone. We are connected. We are whole.
During this season of Lent, remember that you are deeply loved by a God who can take even the smallest offering and use it to bless many. Through your gifts, your love, and your faith, God is working in ways you may never fully see.
Each of us is called to share that love with the world.
May the peace of Christ fill your heart and soul.
Blessings and Peace,
Pastor Amber
